Harmony At Home
The AAML Foundation is pleased to announce that it provided a $6,000 grant in 2026 to Harmony At Home, based in Carmel, California. Harmony at Home is dedicated to supporting children, young adults and families throughout Monterey County. Its core mission is to break cycles of violence and abuse by empowering individuals with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to lead healthy and productive lives. The organization operates as a 501(c)(3) public charity and focuses on human and behavioral health services, particularly for youth and families affected by trauma, stress or instability. Through partnerships with schools and community organizations, Harmony At Home reaches thousands of individuals each year with accessible, trauma-informed care and prevention programs.
The organization offers a wide range of programs and services designed to promote emotional well-being and healthy relationships. These include counseling services for individuals, couples and families, as well as specialized initiatives such as Sticks & Stones® (a school-based counseling program for children exposed to trauma), bullying prevention education and parenting support programs like Family First for young parents. Harmony At Home also provides co-parenting guidance for families experiencing separation or divorce and community-based mental health services on a sliding fee scale, ensuring support is accessible to diverse populations. Overall, the organization plays a vital role in fostering resilience, improving communication and helping families build safer, more supportive environments.
