About the AAML Journal
The Journal of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) is a specialty journal devoted to the practice of National and International Family Law.
AAML publishes the Journal semiannually (in the Fall and Spring). The University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law faculty serve as advisors to the AAML Journal Board and generate an annotated bibliography supporting practice and research on a specialized topic, and students edit and author articles.
The articles focus on cutting edge developments in law and policy, improvement in the delivery of services through family justice courts, and best practices which secure the rights and needs of children and families.
Submission Guidelines
The Editorial Board welcomes and reviews all articles for consideration from a broad range of issues for upcoming issues. When browsing through past Journals, please note that articles have been written by AAML Fellows, Non-Fellow Attorneys, Judges, Financial and Valuation experts, Academics, Physicians, Forensic Mental Health Professionals and Clinical practitioners

Subscriptions
The Journal is provided as a member benefit to Fellows of the AAML and is circulated by subscription to law libraries and other subscribers. The online version is also openly available. Many of the articles end up being picked up on public and legal scholarship databases.
