Diversity Policy
The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) realizes the Fellows that make up the membership of the Academy reflect the organization’s values and beliefs about who should be recognized for excellence in Family Law. We believe that AAML can and is striving to better achieve our mission by drawing on the unique skills, talents, and perspectives of a broader and more diverse range of Fellows, and that the diversity of viewpoints that comes from different life experiences and cultural backgrounds strengthens the organization and it’s decision-making. Below is the AAML Diversity Policy
The AAML and each of its Fellows shall aspire to be inclusive of lawyers of varying gender, national origins, racial and ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientation, gender identity, lawyers with disabilities and geographic location in our Fellowship, outreach, governance and leadership.
