The AAML Annual Meeting takes place each year in fall, in the beautiful and vibrant city of Chicago. The Annual Meeting has been a tradition since the AAML’s conception back in the 60s; a place where family lawyers across the nation could congregate and enjoy scholarly CLE (Sessions Nov 7-9), and some of the best of what Chicago has to offer by way of food, scenery and social activities. Today, the Annual Meeting has become a mainstay for Fellows and is the place you’ll want to be for decision-making meetings, networking opportunities, and to compare notes with your colleagues on leading topics and trends. Nearly 500 experts from across the nation gather to discuss some of today’s most pressing Family Law issues along with the opportunity to review and meet with respected service providers specific to the Family Law profession.
Participants will attend AAML’s signature, cutting-edge CLE sessions which are conveniently held right at the hotel. All AAML Committees will meet in the hotel as well, to conduct the business of the Academy. Attendees can expect to experience the ambience of the city during the special social events planned or meander to a few places on your own. A special guest event will be available for those wishing to attend. You’ll be within walking distance of the Magnificent Mile with its exquisite shops, or can experience the River Walk, boat ride, take a tour, visit a museum, stroll in Millennium Park, well…how long would you like to stay? The list can go on and on. The Annual meeting is an excellent opportunity to network with other professionals and enjoy a bit of relaxation along Lake Michigan.
Upon Registration to the meeting, a link to the hotel’s AAML group block will be sent to you so you can reserve your room at the negotiated rate.
