Born in Jordan, Chris grew up in Saudi Arabia, Washington, DC, and Zambia, graduating high school in Massachusetts at Groton School and college at Princeton University. He majored in Near Eastern Studies. After four years active duty in the U.S. Army, Chris attended the University of Texas School of Law. He has practiced at the Underwood Law Firm in Amarillo, Texas since 1993. Chris is the archdeacon of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwest Texas. Chris and his wife, Hortencia, have three children.
